Jake wrote me this email late last night. I just happened to be up and checking my email then and it made me smile.

The weather stayed nice today. I hope it sticks with this cool thing and forgets about the hot thing. I took my dog out for a jog/walk in the middle of the day and didn't die from the heat. Yay.

My body is out of energy or it was tonight whenever I tried to move. I am glad I didn't end up going bowling. Playing tennis is good for you, but people get sore when they use certain muscles a lot.

I went out to dinner with Ben and Eva, after which we walked around ben's "neighborhood." We had walked to the colonade for dinner, then we walked to mervyn's and the dress barn and back to ben's apartment. I was feeling sick after eating, so this was especially fun. Then we drove to Target. We needed to shop. Well, Eva did.. ben and I just followed.

I went over to Sonnet's house tonight. That was pretty damn cool, because I haven't talked to her lately but I should. We sat on her porch and talked and stuff.

I haven't been thinking about it too much, but what's up with Brenna? I thought she still liked me and that we were friends. We've been close ever since I met her. But now she's off living in Madison and not talking to me. If she's so happy with Jen, why can't she talk to me? I miss her. We could be good friends. I wouldn't have to be bitter and jealous of Ben for getting to continue being her friend.
